UPDATE:
We are pleased to announce that The Patience of Horses by Rick Lott of Jonesboro, AR, is the winner of The Ledge 2009 Poetry Chapbook Award. All entrants to the competition will receive a copy of Rick's chapbook upon its publication by The Ledge Press this fall.
We'd like to take this time to thank all those who submitted entries to the 2009 competition and we look forward to reading your work again this year.

Notes from The Ledge
05/24/10:
The new issue, No. 32, has finally arrived and we are in the process of mailing out copies to our contributors and subscribers. We are also continuing to read entries to The Ledge 2010 Fiction Awards Competition, and we expect to be announcing the results in July or August. The new issue of The Ledge features our first full color cover, and we are considering the addition of photography to the publication next year. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our readers and subscribers, and we wish you all a very healthy and happy summer!
04/09/10:
We are happy to announce that the latest issue of The Ledge (No. 32) is now at press and should be out by late spring. We are now accepting entries for The Ledge 2010 Poetry Awards Competition and will resume reading regular submissions on October 1. In the meantime, we will continue reading and responding to our backlog of regular submissions through the summer months. We appreciate your patience and we thank you for your continuing interest in and support of The Ledge Magazine & Press.
03/14/10:
We are in the final stages of judging The Ledge 2009 Poetry Chapbook Competition, and will be announcing the winner later this month. In addition, the new issue of The Ledge, No. 32, is just about ready for press and we expect it to be out by summer .
